Post Indepenence Day holiday
I hope the majority of you have the day off. I'm doing what a one does in a heatwave when the A/C goes; not the smart thing like purchase another, but playing Mafia Wars. I never got into a role playing game since the 90s and this is a breath of fresh air. It does get hackneyed after some time in which I go do something else.
I'm practicing my guitar. This is a classical so I'm strumming with fingers; a pain. When I get my electric I'll learn to play what I want. This year has thown too many bills at me to afford new computers, televisions and phones AND buy musical gear. One can only make so much. Aikido got more expensive when I speak with Sensei I hope I can work something better out so I can make the $$ stretch. If only money was as easy to make as in MW.

I had quite a good time yesterday at Cousin Margie and her husband Leo's digs. They have two great daughters so it was a pool party for everyone but the kids had a little more fun since being a kid is fun by nature at least it was on days like that for yours truly. Oh humble narrator a la Clockwork Orange.
A good time was had by all and I left before the beer was gone. I snagged two now I feel guilty about. Sorry Margie if you're reading this.
I do hope a lot of you in NYC or elsewhere enjoyed the fireworks. I heard them but didn't have a good view on my roof since they were set off of the Hudson not the East river this year. I like it when they do both rivers !

To All of us from the US of A. Happy Independence day
Have a safe, happy, and healthy day. We are in a heatwave ! That means drink lots of beer... no... anisette since were all wiseguys here.
NO kidding ,keep Hydrated. Drink sports drinks even if you hate em... if you're an alky put some Grey Goose in your Gatorade. Is that a drink ? can I patent it? Gooseaid ? goes like a Gator through a Goose !
I'll be posting here later if I'm sober. I want to see if you are going to be a friend of mine or a friend of ours or we're just going to have to whack you. I got 3 more people in Da Family within the last 24.
Kudos to Rob H. My old friend from High School. Probably one of the best friends I ever had and didn't appreciate it in 1983. May his family be happy and healthy today.
